Real-Name Authentication

Real-name authentication is an important feature provided by the BatChat platform to ensure user identity authenticity and maintain platform security. Completing real-name authentication can obtain a real-name authentication icon, improve account security level, and is also a necessary step to fulfill network real-name system requirements.

Authentication Process

1. In "My" - "Settings" - "Account", click "Real-Name Authentication";
2. Enter your real name (must be consistent with ID card, no spaces in the middle of Chinese names), 18-digit valid ID number (carefully check to ensure no misalignment, missing digits, or typos);
3. Fill in and upload the front and back of your ID card (text, photo, national emblem, etc. should be clearly distinguishable, all four corners of the ID card should be complete, no cropping or missing parts);
4. Carefully read the "Real-Name Authentication Agreement", check and click "Submit" to complete real-name authentication.

After the real-name authentication preliminary review is passed, the platform will conduct a manual re-review. If the review process finds discrepancies with the actual ID card information, unclear images, blurry images, missing image content, etc., the review will not be passed.

Real-Name Authentication Modification

For security reasons, real-name authentication does not allow modification by default after submission. In case of legal changes such as name changes or ID card updates, modification cards can be used for modification.

• How to Obtain Modification Cards: "BatChat Mall" - "Points Draw", exchange by consuming draw chances;
• Modification Card Usage Limit: Each modification card can only be used once
• Operation Process:
  1. Enter the real-name authentication page and click "Use Modification Card to Cancel Real-Name Authentication";
  2. Confirm using the modification card;
  3. Resubmit new real-name information and wait for review approval.

FAQ

1. Is real-name authentication mandatory?

No. But based on your account security considerations, it is recommended that you complete real-name authentication.

2. Will authentication information be leaked?
