Login Settings
The login settings feature allows you to set account login restrictions and verification methods, ensuring your account security through multiple security protection measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Settings Process
- Open the BatChat APP, go to "My" - Settings" - "Account" - "Login Settings" page;
- Enable or disable corresponding settings based on your usage needs.
Basic Login Restrictions
- Disable Password Login: When enabled, the traditional "Account + Password" login method will be disabled. Suitable for users who have enabled other more secure login methods, effectively preventing password leak risks.
- Disable SMS Verification Code Login: When enabled, the system will no longer support logging in via SMS verification code. Recommended to enable when unable to receive SMS stably.
- Disable Email Login: When enabled, the system will no longer support logging in via email. Recommended to enable when unable to receive emails stably.
New Device Login Verification
- New Device Login Requires SMS Security Verification: When a new device that has never logged in before attempts to log in to your account, the system will forcibly require SMS verification code for security verification. This feature can effectively prevent others from logging in to your account on unfamiliar devices.
- New Device Login Requires Email Security Verification: When enabled, when logging in to your account on a new device, the system will forcibly require email verification code for security verification. This feature can effectively prevent others from logging in to your account on unfamiliar devices.
Friendly Reminders:
- Please ensure at least one effective login method is retained to avoid being unable to log in to your account normally;
- When enabling new device verification, please ensure the bound mobile number or email can receive verification information normally.
FAQ
The system will prompt to retain at least one login method and cannot save settings with all methods closed.
