Appeal a Banned Account

When your BatChat account is temporarily or permanently banned for violating platform rules, the system will display a ban popup and force logout. During the ban period, you cannot log in to your account to use the BatChat APP. Please read the ban-related information carefully. If you have questions about the ban result, you can appeal.

Ban Types

1. Short-term Ban (30 minutes or 1 day):
   1. Characteristics: Has a clear unban time, just wait for automatic unban;
   2. Common reasons: Minor violations, first-time violations;
2. Long-term Ban (7 days to 30 days):
   1. Characteristics: Has an unban time but the period is longer. If you believe it is an error, please appeal promptly;
   2. Common reasons: Moderate violations;
3. Permanent Ban:
   1. Characteristics: No unban time, shows "Permanently Banned", must appeal to attempt recovery;
   2. Common reasons: Serious violations or repeated violations.

Appeal Process

1. Click "If you have objections to the ban result, click to appeal" on the ban page to enter the appeal form page;
2. Fill in appeal information:
   1. Appeal Reason (required, recommended 200-500 words): Please state in chronological or cause-and-effect order;
   2. Appeal Attachments (optional, up to 3 images): Upload evidence images related to the appeal;
3. After submitting the appeal, please wait patiently for the review team to process:
   1. If the appeal is approved, the ban will be lifted;
   2. If the appeal is not approved or needs modification, the ban status will remain unchanged. The reviewer will inform you of the reason. Please click "If you have objections to the ban result, click to appeal" to enter the appeal result list to view the reason. Click "Reply" in the upper right corner to supplement appeal content and attachments;

How to avoid account bans? It is recommended to follow these principles:

1. For personal use only, do not lend, buy, or sell accounts;
2. Do not send spam ads or违规 content;
3. Do not use cheating tools such as plugins or emulators.

FAQ

1. Will VIP, SVIP and other paid services be extended during the ban period?

No. Service time continues to count during the ban period and will not be compensated or extended.

2. Will the ban affect other accounts on the same device?

Usually only affects the banned account. But if it is a very serious violation, it may result in the device being directly banned.
