Not Receiving Message Notifications

If you are not receiving message notifications, please check the following settings:

1. Check BatChat Notification Settings

  • Open BatChat APP, go to "My" - "Settings" - "Notifications"
  • Ensure "Message Notifications" is enabled
  • Check if "Do Not Disturb" mode is turned on

2. Check System Notification Settings

  • iOS: Settings > Notifications > BatChat > Enable "Allow Notifications"
  • Android: Settings > Apps > BatChat > Notifications > Enable notifications

3. Check Battery Optimization Settings

Some Android phones may restrict background apps to save battery, which can affect message notifications:

  • Add BatChat to the whitelist or exclude it from battery optimization
  • Allow BatChat to run in the background

4. Network Connection

  • Ensure your device has a stable network connection
  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

5. App Version

  • Ensure you are using the latest version of BatChat
  • Update to the latest version from the app store
