Not Receiving Message Notifications
If you are not receiving message notifications, please check the following settings:
1. Check BatChat Notification Settings
- Open BatChat APP, go to "My" - "Settings" - "Notifications"
- Ensure "Message Notifications" is enabled
- Check if "Do Not Disturb" mode is turned on
2. Check System Notification Settings
- iOS: Settings > Notifications > BatChat > Enable "Allow Notifications"
- Android: Settings > Apps > BatChat > Notifications > Enable notifications
3. Check Battery Optimization Settings
Some Android phones may restrict background apps to save battery, which can affect message notifications:
- Add BatChat to the whitelist or exclude it from battery optimization
- Allow BatChat to run in the background
4. Network Connection
- Ensure your device has a stable network connection
- Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
5. App Version
- Ensure you are using the latest version of BatChat
- Update to the latest version from the app store
