Edit Group Profile
The group profile editing function allows group owners and administrators to modify the basic information of group chats. By improving group profiles, you can better display group chat positioning, attract like-minded members, and establish a unified group chat image.
Edit Content
Note: After modifying avatar, nickname, introduction, tags, and other content, it needs to be approved by the platform before it can take effect. Please comply with platform content specifications and avoid violations.
Group Avatar
- Format requirements: JPG, PNG, WEBP, size not exceeding 5MB;
- Size requirements: 1:1 square (non-square images need to be manually cropped when setting);
- Editing steps:
- Enter the group details page, click the group profile area above to enter the group profile editing page;
- Click the group avatar area, select an image (support direct photo or selection from album);
- Crop and adjust the image, click 'Confirm' to complete the modification.
Group Name
- Length limit: 1-24 characters;
- Editing steps:
- Enter the group details page, click the 'Group Name' row;
- Delete the original name, enter a new name;
- Confirm the modification to complete.

Group Tags
- Quantity limit: Set up to 3 tags;
- Length limit: Each tag 1-8 characters;
- Setting steps: Click the 'Group Tags' area, enter tag content, click 'Confirm' to complete the setting.

Group Name Color
- Setting condition: Need to activate special group ID, details see Group Special ID;
- Setting steps: Click the 'Color' area, select a color, click 'Confirm' to complete the setting. The color takes effect immediately on all members' devices.

Group Introduction
- Length limit: 1-80 characters, plain text, supports basic formats such as line breaks and spaces;
- Setting steps: Click the 'Group Introduction' area, enter introduction content, click 'Confirm' to complete the setting.

Group Profile Content Specifications
- The following sensitive content is prohibited:
- Using images or names of party and state leaders;
- Impersonating government agencies or official organizations;
- Publishing illegal information or links;
- Involving pornography, violence, or gambling content;
- Infringing on others' intellectual property rights or portrait rights;
- Advertising and marketing content;
- Setting sensitive content will be rejected by the system. Serious violations may result in group chat or account suspension.
