Add to Favorites
"Favorites" is an important message management function provided by BatChat for users. You can favorite important messages in one-on-one chats or group chats for quick search and review later. Favorites support management operations such as pinning, batch forwarding, and deletion, and can be protected with an independent password for privacy, keeping your precious records safe and organized.
Favorites Process
How to Add to Favorites
- In one-on-one chat or group chat sessions, find the message you want to favorite;
- Long press the message, click "Favorite" in the pop-up menu;
- System prompts "Favorite successful", the message is saved to "My Favorites".

Notes:
- Except for special message types such as red envelope messages, coupon messages, and system notifications, most messages support favorites;
- Even if the original message is recalled, favorited content is not affected;
- Favorites quantity has no upper limit currently, but favorites space is limited. If favorites space is full, you cannot add favorites. You can delete favorited content or upgrade favorites space.
View Favorites
- In "My" - "Favorites", you can see all favorited messages, arranged in reverse chronological order (newest first);
- Click any favorite message to view the detailed content of that message.

Manage Favorites
- Pin: Long press any favorite message, click "Pin" in the pop-up menu. The favorite item is automatically pinned to the top of the list and displays the pinned effect;
- Delete:
- Single Delete: Long press any favorite message, click "Delete" in the message details page to delete the favorite item;
- Batch Delete: Click the "Batch Operation" icon in the upper right corner, check the favorite content to be deleted, click "Delete" to delete the selected favorite items;
- Forward:
- Single Forward: Long press any favorite message, click "Forward" in the message details page, select the forwarding target to forward the favorite item;
- Batch Forward: Click the "Batch Operation" icon in the upper right corner, check the favorite content to be forwarded (up to 20 favorites can be forwarded at a time), click "Forward", select the forwarding target to forward the selected favorite items;

Favorites Password Protection
Set Favorites Password Process
- Enter "My" - "Favorites", click "More" in the upper right corner - "Set Favorites Password";
- Find the "Enable Favorites Password" switch and click to enable;
- For first-time setup, enter a 6-digit numeric password and confirm;
- Setup successful. Favorites password is now enabled. Each time you access the favorites page, you need to enter the password to view favorites content;
- If you need to turn off the favorites password, enter this page again and turn off "Enable Favorites Password".

Change Favorites Password
- Enter "My" - "Favorites", click "More" in the upper right corner - "Set Favorites Password";
- Select "Change Favorites Password", enter the old password to verify identity, then enter the new 6-digit numeric password and confirm;
- Change successful. Next time you enter favorites, you need to use the new password.

If you forget the favorites password, you can reset it through the verification code sent to your currently bound mobile number.
FAQ
Favorite content does not occupy phone local storage space. However, temporary cache is generated when viewing images and videos, which can be cleared regularly.
Currently only supports 6-digit numeric password, fingerprint or facial recognition is not supported yet.
Yes. Whether it's messages you sent or messages sent by the other party, you can long press to favorite.
