Group Special ID Purchase and Use
Group Special ID is an exclusive identity identification service provided for BatChat groups. Each group receives a randomly generated group ID when created. Through the Group Special ID feature, group owners can purchase preferred Special ID IDs for the group to replace the original group ID. Group Special ID makes your group more recognizable and attractive, standing out among many group chats.
Group Special ID Acquisition
- Source: The initial group ID obtained after group creation is randomly generated by the system. Group Special IDs need to be purchased through "Special ID Mall" - "Group Special ID";
- Mall Browsing: In the mall, you can filter and browse available Group Special ID IDs by number type (such as consecutive numbers, sequential numbers, etc.) and price range;
- Purchase Process:
- Enter "BatChat Mall", click "Group Special ID" in the Special ID section;
- Browse or search for your favorite Group Special ID, click to view details;
- Confirm the number and price, select the group to apply this Group Special ID to (only allowed to purchase Special IDs for groups where you are the group owner), complete payment;
- After Successful Purchase:
- After purchasing the Group Special ID and successful payment, the group's group ID changes to the new Group Special ID. The original group ID will be recycled by the system;
- The purchased Group Special ID permanently belongs to the current group unless you actively operate to purchase a new Group Special ID for replacement;
- If the group owner identity is transferred, the Group Special ID and all related privileges will follow the group and be managed by the new group owner, unaffected by group owner changes.
Tip: In addition to directly purchasing a Group Special ID for replacement, you can also purchase a "Group Special ID Coupon". The Group Special ID Coupon will be stored in your "Coupon Center" and can be activated for personal use for your group at any time or gifted to friends.
Group Special ID Privileges
After purchasing and successfully replacing the Group Special ID, immediately enjoy the following exclusive benefits:
- Group ID changes to your selected Group Special ID;
- In scenarios such as group profile and chat windows, a unique "Special" identity badge will be displayed next to the group ID;
- In pages such as the message list, the group name and ID will be highlighted with special colors or effects, making it more eye-catching. There are multiple colors for you to choose from.
Custom Exclusive Group Special ID
- If there is no Special ID you like in the Group Special ID Mall, you can contact customer service to customize it for you;
- Operation Process:
- In the "Contacts" list, find online customer service;
- Provide the specific number you wish to customize to customer service (e.g.: 123456);
- Customer service will check if the number is available. If available, they will inform you of the customization price;
- After you confirm the quote, customer service will list the number in the Group Special ID Mall. You need to complete the purchase as soon as possible, otherwise the number may be purchased by others.

Not at all. Only the group ID number identifier is changed. All group data (chat history, member list, group files, etc.) will be completely retained and seamlessly associated with the new group ID. Group members do not need to rejoin the group, everything in the group continues as normal.
Yes, completely retained. The Group Special ID and all related privileges follow the group itself and are unrelated to the group owner's personal account. After the group owner changes, the new group owner will automatically obtain the management permissions for the Group Special ID (including changing colors, renewing, purchasing new Special IDs, etc.).
