Automated Group Creation and Member Joining
Automated Group Creation and Member Joining
The core mechanism of Super Groups is automated group creation and smart allocation.
- When all chats in a group set are full, the system automatically creates a new group;
- When users apply to join, the system automatically assigns them to a group that is not full.
Automated Group Creation Rules
- Trigger condition: When all existing chats in the group set have reached the member limit and a user applies to join, the system automatically creates a new group;
- Group naming rules:
- Group name: group set name + label suffix, such as BatChat Official Community and BatChat Official Community Group 2;
- Group ID: first group ID + suffix, such as 123456, 123456-2, 123456-3;
- Each Super Group can create up to 6 group chats (some group sets may differ; refer to the actual page display);
- Newly created group chats inherit the following settings from the first group by default: administrator team, join method, member protection mode, and search method.
Search and Join Groups
Search Methods
| Search Method | Search Result |
|---|---|
| Fuzzy name search | Finds the group set |
| Exact ID search (with suffix) | Finds the specified group chat |
| ID search (without suffix) | Finds the group set and does not find other group chats |
Apply to Join a Group Set
- Allocation principle: Users are assigned in order from Group 1 -> Group 2 -> Group 3 -> Group 4 to the first group chat that is not full and matches the join method;
- Create a new group: If all current group chats are full and the group set has not reached the maximum number of group chats, the system automatically creates a new group and adds the user and the first group's administrators to it;
- If all group chats are full and the quantity limit has been reached (or the user has reached the group joining limit), the user cannot join the group set.
Apply to Join a Specific Group Chat
Users can exactly search for a group chat ID (for example: 123456-2) and apply to join that group chat. If the group chat is full, the system directly indicates that it is full and will not automatically assign the user to another group chat.
The same user can join multiple group chats under the same group set.
